Adult Learn to Sail
Sunday Adult Learn to Sail Program These courses are offered by Sandusky Junior Sailors, Inc. at the Sandusky Sailing Club. They are intended for adults age 18 and over. Classes meet on Sunday afternoons from 4:00 to 6:30 PM with 2.5 hours of instruction weekly over a five week period, and include on-the-water experience on keelboats from 24ft to 26ft in length. The fee includes the US Sailing book, "Basic Keelboat", and all instruction. Class sizes are quite small, with no more than four students per US Sailing certified instructor, so be sure to register early. Location: The Sandusky Sailing Club is situated on Sandusky Bay, the top sailing venue on the Great Lakes. The entrance to the Club is behind the tennis courts next to the City Building at 222 Meigs Street in Sandusky, Ohio. 2010 Class Schedule - Cost per session: $180

Prior to beginning your instruction, you will receive
information on what to bring. In addition to comfortable
clothing, closed toe shoes, lifejacket and personal effects, you
will need to be a swimmer and be comfortable around water. If
your swimming skills are a concern, please contact Mr. Oliver
